Havent heard of that one myself.. though i am not using a MAC.. could be something specifically between how the mac is talking/working with that wireless.
While all the rogers modem/gateways, do have wireless, etc in them... the wireless is not GREAT.. nor does the router fuction always have some of the more advanced settings needed when tweeking some network settings.
(some people have issues with devices like chromecasts, and the settings to change, are not just available).
Of the rogers gateways, the CGN3 is the best one wireless wise of them.. with the dual band available, etc.
It out preforms the other rogers gateways... but is still lacking (both in range and settings), for some users.
All in all, you are possibly best to CONTINUE in bridged mode.. either with your time capsule, or a newer router (if you are looking for better range, capabilities, etc)
Though that you are on the EXPRESS package... the CGN3 is WELL overkill.. and not necessary to pay that much for it ($12) if you are going to bridge it. You would be better to step down to the SMC or CISCO if you are able to.
(running the SMC here just fine on express).
