One of the submissions by a Rogers moderator said that Rogers has acknowledged that it knows Rogers customers want a stand-alone Docsis3 (i.e. Motorola SB6121) cable modem and is looking into it,but, I think this is just to appease the masses and will never happen because Rogers does not get any kickbacks when a customer does not buy or rent the modem from Rogers. Take a look at the deals offered to new customers and really nothing to existing customers. I guess we're (existing customers like me) are the . for staying with Rogers.
