Got me excited there for a minute.. i have an XPS12 for work... but just checked, an not an AC card 
(so either an earlier model of it, or just didnt have the upgrade to it)
In most cases, the N is still fast enough for me now. 
not usually doing any file transfer via wireless.. mostly just streaming video to the TV or wireless devices.
