1) use a 3rd party program to collect your email, or use a browser which blocks adds... and now adds are gone. Add are served by yahoo and not rogers.. rogers would have to change webmail providers to remove them
2) If this is a issue with usage.. you have other problems.. that too many people are trying to attack you. Totals for things like this are likely in the sub 100kb range a month.
3/4) While rogers could possibly see the packet loss... unless the packet loss is happening from THEIR side of the network? they are not at fault. So if you are connecting to lets say MS.. and there is a loss or an issue from THEIR end, and the download doesnt works/stops/packet loss.... its ROGERS fault?
5) this i would agree.. better would be to remove caps altogether.
7) Home phone is not transported same method as email. While the rogers home phone does use SIP, its via a private transport, its own segregated part of the network, not regular internet (like say VOIP). Even if they were then to remove LD from it, you would then start getting internet usage for using it then.
