Yeah, still going to hold out 
My home laptop, is due for replacement likely in a year or so.. and will get a unit with it built in likely.
Most newer phones i would thing in the next year+ will hopefully have it all as well.

For the routers... you really cant cheap out on.
Is the CGN3 better than the others for wireless? Slightly... the dual band helps...
But using, even just as an AP, a MUCH better router, can make the difference of night and day.
Thats why i usually say to people. Start at the N66U... $150.. GREAT router, but only N. But will give the range, signal, etc.
IF you can afford more... go to an AC unit, for more future proofing of your wireless.
(problem is, the $150+ is a big pill to swallow for some... they dont want to spend that.)
