Re: Rogers has worst Netflix performance in Canada! Why?

Well, I don't think Netflix cares much about where any one ISP is at any point in time.  What was interesting is that for Canada Bell showed up at the top of the list while Rogers showed up at the...

Re: Does Cisco DCP3825 Support Hybrid Fibre 60? - save me from CGN3

Re: Does Cisco DCP3825 Support Hybrid Fibre 60? - save me from CGN3

1. First of all what version of the firmware are you running on CGN3? If you just got the CGN3 it might run on the older version of the firmaware which was quite buggy and resulted in frequent dropped...

Re: Does Cisco DCP3825 Support Hybrid Fibre 60? - save me from CGN3

Using Google DNS will have no effect on congestion but might help you to resolve addresses faster. Just do not change DNS setting on the CGN3 - instead change DNS setting in your internet connection...

Re: Does Cisco DCP3825 Support Hybrid Fibre 60? - save me from CGN3

I had a thought a few days ago. We've always assumed the rationale for the CGN3 requirement for the 60+ plans was to bond more than 8 D3 channels and the benefits of that are obvious. But I wonder if...

Re: wanting to connect computer directly to modem

You would want cat5e (make sure it's 5e and not just 5) or 6. Generally you would see no improvement between 5e to 6 though in your setup.
